24th getAbstract International Book Award: These non-fiction books are nominated
Lucerne, September 3, 2024 – Since 2001, the getAbstract International Book Award has been presented annually to titles that focus on current economic and business-relevant topics in a remarkable way. The winners of the “Business Impact” category will be announced on October 17, 2024 during the Frankfurt Book Fair, while the winners in the “Learning Impact“ category will be announced on October 24, 2024.
This year, the jury will evaluate books published between July 2023 and June 2024. Based on the longlist, the jury will first select a shortlist, which will be announced on September 30, and finally the winning title in the respective category.
Voting for the “Readers’ Choice Award” in the individual categories will also be open from September 3 to September 22, 2024.

The jury for the “Learning Impact” category is composed of Simon Brown, Global Learning & Development Leader at EY; Donald H. Taylor, an expert in learning and learning technologies; Hillary Branman, Managing Editor at getAbstract; and Jana Eicher, Learning Solutions Lead at getAbstract.
The award ceremony in this category will be part of the virtual getAbstract event “Global L&D Knowledge Forum” on October 24, 2024.

The quality of entries was as high as ever, and the getAbstract team created a smooth process that allowed the judges to really focus on the core task – finding innovative writing that will boost the practice of L&D professionals.
